As previously reported, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, will be in Russia on an official visit from October 5 to 7.

As part of this visit, the third forum of interregional cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia was organized in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, part of the Russian Federation.

A delegation from Namangan region, led by the Regional Hokim Shavkat Abdurazzakov, is participating in this prestigious economic forum. The delegation includes senior officials from the Hokimiyat, heads of organizations, and representatives of the region’s business community. The forum participants are members of governments, ministries, agencies of the two countries, leaders of industry and business associations, large companies, and private sector representatives.

The event aims to strengthen direct business ties between the regions of Uzbekistan and Russia and enhance the scope of practical cooperation.

Following the forum, it is planned to conclude bilateral interregional agreements in the socio-economic sphere and in culture, tourism, and other areas between the city of Kazan of the Russian Federation and Namangan region of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
