In connection with the elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and local Councils of People’s Deputies to be held on October 27 this year, the country is actively preparing for this important political event.

In particular, collecting signatures for the party’s participation in the elections was organized in an upbeat mood. The Central Election Commission permitted UzLiDeP to participate in the polls.

These days, in accordance with the decision of the Executive Committee of the Political Council of UzLiDeP, conferences of party organizations are being held in the regions. The next meeting of the Karakalpak Republican Council of the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businesspeople – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan was held.

At the event, it was noted that the active participation of the party organization of Karakalpakstan in the upcoming elections to parliament and local Councils will contribute to further strengthening the position of UzLiDeP as a leading force. 

Today, the Karakalpak Republican Party Council unites 113,161 members. 1,166 primary party organizations include workers in education, science, healthcare, culture, literature, and art, activists of public organizations, and representatives of different nationalities. There are 143 deputies in the local Councils of People’s Deputies. As part of the party groups, which are the link, they work in direct interaction with voters. Thanks to their activities, the tasks set in the party’s Election Program are completed on time and efficiently.

In 2020-2024, more than 4,000 meetings were organized, in which about 50,000 people took part. Almost 80 percent of the problems raised during these meetings by entrepreneurs and residents were positively resolved by the deputies.

At the conference, it was noted that UzLiDeP has become a powerful political force for entrepreneurs and businesspeople. The party’s efforts to improve our country’s entrepreneurial and business environment, ensure the inviolability of private property, and expand the ranks of owners were discussed.

At the meeting, delegates from the party organization of the Republic of Karakalpakstan were elected to the 1st Congress of UzLiDeP.

Following the meeting, the tasks to be carried out by the party organization of Karakalpakstan in this political process were defined. Other issues on the agenda were considered, and appropriate decisions were made.
