Hungary hosted the World Judo Championships in Budapest.

The last day of the championships, held before the Tokyo Olympic Games, became successful for Uzbekistan’s athletes. In particular, Davlat Bobonov (90 kilograms) reached the final.

He competed with Nikoloz Sherazadishvili from Georgia for the gold.

Nikoloz Sherazadishvili won the fight. Davlat Bobonov got the silver medal of the championships.
