Representatives of the energy sector from more than 20 countries of Rosatom State Corporation took part in the Second International Energy Forum, held in Tashkent on May 18-20.

At the most significant industry platform, its representatives focused on nuclear energy and other strategically important issues and areas of the fuel and energy complex.

At the event, Director for International Business at Rosatom State Corporation Boris Arseev addressed the plenary session.

Director of the Department for Sustainable Development of Rosatom State Corporation Polina Lion addressed the panel session “Environmental aspects of the energy industry”. She touched upon the issues of ESG parameters in the energy industry.

Following the event, Deputy Director General of Rosatom Energy Projects JSC Damey Khashba spoke about the advantages of building a nuclear power plant in the country at the panel session “Implementation of nuclear energy – the basis for ensuring carbon neutrality”.

Within the framework of the forum, Rosatom also took part in the 16th International Exhibition “Power Uzbekistan 2023”, presenting promising technologies in nuclear energy. The visitors became familiar with the VVER-1200 reactor more closely.
