The regular session of the Tashkent Regional Council was held in Nurafshan.

It was attended by the Hokim of Tashkent region Zoyir Mirzayev, deputies of the Regional Council, persons responsible for the relevant departments and organizations, and media representatives.

The issue of submitting a proposal to the Central Election Commission on the formation of single-mandate constituencies in the territory of Tashkent region for holding elections for deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis was considered.

By Article 88 of the Election Code, the number of seats in the Tashkent Regional Council of People’s Deputies in the elections to the Legislative Chamber, regional, district, and city Councils of People’s Deputies is 60 people.

The issues of approving the roadmap for the sustainable development of the Urtachirchiq and Yangiyul districts, the socio-economic development of Akkurgan district, and further improvement of the population’s living conditions were discussed.
