During the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Qatar at the invitation of the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, new prospects for further developing cooperation between the two countries were identified.

According to the approved plan of practical actions for the implementation of agreements reached during this visit in politics, economics, transport, trade, security, cultural and humanitarian areas, the Week of Culture, Crafts and Tourism of Uzbekistan is being held on February 20-26, 2024 in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

The main goal is to demonstrate the rich cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, including examples of classical and folk applied art, performing traditions, and customs, and further strengthen the friendship between Qatar and Uzbekistan.

It is known that the foreign policy built by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, based on open, sincere, constructive dialogue and mutual respect, yields positive results. As a result, Uzbekistan Culture Weeks are held at a high level in several foreign countries.
