A delegation led by the Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Mavlyanov is on a working visit to Belgium.

The delegation took part in the WCO Human Capital Management Global Conference. A meeting took place between the Chairman of the State Customs Committee Akmalkhodji Mavlyanov and the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization Kunio Mikuriya.

The Chairman of the Committee put forward several proposals for further strengthening cooperation with the World Customs Organization.

The parties discussed the issue of accreditation of the Committee’s employees in the World Customs Organization and their permanent work in this organization. It was proposed to hold international events in Uzbekistan. These proposals were supported by Dr. Kunio Mikuriya.

1200 participants from 150 countries are taking part in the conference.
