COVID-19 cases increased to almost 1200 in Uzbekistan
On January 27, the number of COVID-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic reached 219,663. Over the past day, 1,186 new cases have been recorded.
According to the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, 216 people were diagnosed with pneumonia.
Patients with COVID-19 have been identified in all regions of the country. Most of the newly infected people were registered in the capital (503), Fergana (129), Tashkent (124) regions and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (67).
The death of 3 patients from COVID-19 was officially confirmed (a total of 1554 deaths).
1,399 people infected with coronavirus recovered per day (since the beginning of the pandemic, 209,417). 8692 patients with COVID-19 are being treated.
