The Uzbek-Japanese Youth Innovation Center at Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov organized an event “Uzbekistan – a country of interethnic harmony and religious tolerance”, dedicated to the International Day for Tolerance.
The event was attended by representatives of the Russian Cultural Center of Uzbekistan, the Association of National Cultural Centers of Azerbaijan, entrepreneurs from South Korea, teachers and students of Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov, the National University of Uzbekistan.
Vice-Rector of Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov Arifjon Zaripov and professor of the University Rakhbar Khalikova, professor of the National University of Uzbekistan Kamola Saipova noted the importance of such qualities as tolerance, spoke about the role of Islam in promoting interethnic harmony.
Representatives of the Russian and Azerbaijani cultural centers spoke about the opportunities created in the country for their activities.
