Council meeting on tariff and non-tariff regulation of foreign trade

The roadmap, which provides for revision of excise tax rates and the use of methods of non-tariff regulation of foreign trade, taking into account the generally accepted rules and regulations of international trade, including WTO agreements, was considered at the meeting.
These measures are aimed at minimizing the negative impact of changes in the excise policy on certain sectors of the economy.
Measures provided for in the roadmap are aimed at ensuring that Uzbekistan fulfills its obligations under international agreements.
