The event was attended by representatives of organizations for the collective management of copyright and related rights from Kazakhstan, Moldova, Georgia, Sweden, the Czech Republic, the Chamber for the Protection of Copyright of Artists, Creators and Performers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis. Representatives of the World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO (Geneva), the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers – CISAC (Paris) and Azerbaijani organizations took part in the event via videoconference.

Reports of domestic and foreign scientists, international experts and specialists were heard. Participants exchanged views on improving the current legislation based on an in-depth study of foreign experience, taking into account the realities and conditions of the digital environment in the world.

Proposals and recommendations were developed on creating decent socio-economic conditions for representatives of culture and art, establishing public control over the use of works and performances at places, and enhancing collaboration with official bodies.
