Baku hosts the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, bringing together over 50,000 participants from 198 countries.
COP29 has become a key platform for agreeing on international climate commitments and discussing measures to prevent the most serious impacts of climate change.
The focus is on financing issues, as countries must ensure the necessary investments to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect lives and livelihoods from the increasing impacts of climate change.
150 countries and organizations are presenting thematic pavilions as part of the conference, more than 70 of which are national pavilions of the convention parties.
On the first day of the event, over 1,000 delegates visited the National Pavilion of Uzbekistan, located in the center of the exhibition center. The pavilion made a great impression on the distinguished guests and delegates.
