A delegation led by Wahyu Wijayanto, Operations Team Leader of the regional office of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), met with the Hokim of Bukhara region, Botir Zaripov.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank is rapidly growing. The bank’s strategic role in supporting Uzbekistan’s large-scale reform program was particularly highlighted.

The parties exchanged views on projects implemented by the IsDB in various sectors, including the modernization of housing and utility infrastructure, rural development, healthcare, education, water management, and entrepreneurship. Agreements were reached on the mechanisms and timelines for project implementation.
