At Tashkent City Administration, the capital’s Hokim, Shavkat Umurzakov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Yousef Saleh Algahrah Al-Otaibi.

During the event, it was noted that, on the initiative of the Head of state, Uzbekistan, particularly the city of Tashkent, has created a favorable investment and business environment that fully supports both local and foreign companies.

In turn, Ambassador Yousef Saleh Algahrah Al-Otaibi expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and highly appreciated the conditions created for diplomatic and business circles in the country.

The Ambassador noted that business representatives from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are ready to expand their investments in Uzbekistan significantly. 

According to him, the Uzbekistan market is considered one of the most promising in the region, and strengthening cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, and educational spheres is of genuine interest to Saudi investors and entrepreneurs. 

The parties agreed to continue an active dialogue to develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
