The Minister of Agriculture Ibrokhim Abdurakhmanov met with the General Manager of Lactalis Central Asia, Christian Hubert.

Enhancing cooperation was discussed at the meeting.

Mr. Hubert said that the company intends to expand projects in Uzbekistan.

Minister Ibrokhim Abdurakhmanov noted that Uzbekistan is ready to support investment projects, and the Ministry of Agriculture will provide assistance in their implementation. The importance of projects to fully satisfy the population’s demand for butter, ensure price stability in the domestic market, and increase export potential was noted.

In Namangan, Lactalis Central Asia produces 22 types of dairy products, which it regularly supplies to the population.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to create a working group.
