The International Conference on new approaches to cooperation between Korea and Central Asia was held at the Korean Institute of Public Administration.
It was attended by the Uzbekistan delegation led by the Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President, Adham Bekmurodov.
Special attention was paid to the Academy’s projects planned for implementation with Korean partners’ assistance to introduce innovative and digital technologies and artificial intelligence into public administration.

Cooperation will continue within the framework of educational projects in public administration effectiveness assessment. In addition, negotiations are underway to support programs for creating an academic center and training on using digital technologies and artificial intelligence in public administration.

Over the past three years, the Academy of Public Administration has attracted international grants from Korean educational institutions and organizations totaling $3 million, and internships have been organized in the Republic of Korea, to which almost 200 civil servants of Uzbekistan and the teaching staff of the Academy have been sent. Together with the National Human Resources Development Institute of the Republic of Korea, training workshops were organized with the participation of specialists from the two countries, and a system of experience exchange was created. Since 2021, more than 10,000 civil servants from both countries have participated in joint training programs.
From November 4 to November 9, almost 30 civil servants of the Republic of Korea completed an internship in various organizations and departments of Uzbekistan to study the country’s rich experience.
