The Committee for the Development of Sericulture and the Wool Industry hosted a meeting with Japanese experts in sericulture, including representatives of Global Silk Road.

Opinions and proposals were expressed on developing the industry, expanding the range of products, and providing comprehensive support for the export and investment activities of sericulture enterprises.

The parties discussed issues of exporting Uzbek silk and wool products to Japan, advanced training, studying the history of sericulture, and establishing bilateral cooperation.
