The residence of the Ambassador of Japan to Uzbekistan hosted a ceremony of awarding Akmal Nuridinov, Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan an honorary diploma as a sign of deep respect for his great contribution to the development of bilateral relations in art and culture, as well as strengthening friendship between Japan and Uzbekistan.

The diploma of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan was presented by the Ambassador of Japan to Uzbekistan, Yoshinori Fujiyama.

The diploma of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan recognizes the significant merits of individuals and organizations in strengthening friendly ties between Japan and other countries. The diploma is awarded annually to individuals and organizations. Its presentation is also intended to draw attention to projects that contribute to deepening mutual understanding and trust between countries.
