Navoiuran State Enterprise hosted a meeting with the leadership of Japan’s Itochu Corporation.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation to increase the level of separation of uranium from ore based on the latest technologies at Navoiuran State Enterprise, the introduction of modern technologies aimed at reducing the cost of uranium.

Representatives of the Itochu Corporation announced that a tripartite memorandum was signed between the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Geology and Mineral Resources and Japan’s Itochu Corporation and JOGMEC on conducting geological exploration and assessing mineral reserves in mines following international standards.
