The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Iran, together with the Uzbek-Iranian joint venture Sharq-Baligi, organized a workshop on fish farming industry issues.

Heads and employees of specialized farms, enterprises and companies of Uzbekistan took part to improve their qualifications. Issues of increasing production, feeding, treating fish, rational use of natural and artificial pools, the introduction of intensive and innovative technologies, improving the system of economic management, as well as science-intensive methods of fish farming and updating the material and technical base of the enterprise were considered.

According to the Professor of the University of Tabriz, Founder of the Uzbek-Iranian joint venture Sharq-Baligi Mohammad Reza Moghaddam, it is planned to implement a large project in Bostanlik district – to create a cluster worth $4.5 million.
