The enhancing collaboration between the publishing house of the Renmin (People’s) University of China and the Silk Road Publishing House in Uzbekistan is characterized by significant results.
A new series of books they published in Uzbek on the study of modernization in the Chinese style reveals in detail the enormous progress that China has made toward the modernization of society in a broad sense, the ideas and principles of this process.
A presentation of the publication of this series of books in Uzbek with the participation of an official delegation from China took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Chairman of the Veterans Council of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Professor Saidmukhtar Saidkasimov informed the guests in detail about the fundamental changes in the development of the country, the goals defined in its Development Strategy, the prospects for large-scale cooperation between the two countries, noting that in strengthening friendly relations with China, enhancing cultural and educational ties, especially the strengthening of the influence of the “soft power” factor, is of particular importance.
Representative of the leadership of the Renmin University of China, Professor Zhang Donggang, highly appreciated the large-scale reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, noting that in China, there is a growing interest in Uzbekistan, its enormous creative potential, especially in the domestic and foreign policy pursued by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, which is carefully studied by scientists from several scientific centers, including the Renmin University of China. In this regard, he expressed the hope that publishing a series of books on studying modernization in the Chinese style in the Uzbek language may have significant scientific and practical value for Uzbekistan as a successful, positive experience of modern state development.

The guests donated several publications from the “Chinese Bookshelf” project to the National Library Foundation, and the Silk Road Publishing House presented a large set of their publications.
A new long-term Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Renmin University of China publishing house and the Silk Road Publishing House.
