The meetings of the leaders of the states held in recent years on global and regional issues serve to find solutions to economic, social, environmental problems, security issues and strengthen friendly relations.
The countries of the world support the proposals put forward by Uzbekistan on strengthening cooperation, new approaches to solving problems, which of course, is great confidence.
At the Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia, held in Astana, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev put forward six priority directions on deepening economic integration, youth support, environmental protection, countering climate change, and ensuring food security. The Head of the state stressed that it is necessary to pay special attention to the situation in Afghanistan, which has begun to fade into the background of other acute international problems and called for developing common, coordinated approaches to interaction with the interim Government of Afghanistan. Special attention was paid to ecology and climate, in particular, the problem of the Aral Sea, as this is a problem not only for Uzbekistan and Central Asia, but also for the whole world. It was proposed to unite efforts and launch regular expert consultations within the framework of the Green Asia conceptual program on intensive greening of our countries and support for vulnerable ecosystems.
The implementation of these initiatives will contribute to the sustainable development of the Asian continent in the new geopolitical conditions.
