A delegation of the Russian Federation led by Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Navoi region to discuss trade, economic, and investment issues between the two regions and to hold talks on cooperation in promising areas.

The Hokim of the region Normat Tursunov met the high-ranking guest.

The members of the delegation visited the Industrial Development Complex in Navoi Free Economic Zone, where they got acquainted with the progress of constructing a special industrial park created jointly with Tatarstan. A presentation of the projects being implemented here was held.

Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan expressed proposals and opinions regarding the construction process.

During the negotiations, trade, economic, and investment issues were discussed in detail, and an agreement was reached on partnership between the two regions in promising areas.
