The congress, organized jointly with Bukhara State University, a number of higher education institutions of Turkey and other organizations, was attended by scientists, politicians and specialists from almost 10 countries of the world.

The main purpose of the congress is to promote continuous scientific cooperation within the framework of Uzbekistan – Turkey relations. The congress has become a kind of laboratory for discussing contemporary research directions and the results achieved in social sciences.

Views were exchanged on various forms of interaction, in particular, on inter-university relations, creation of joint Uzbekistan – Turkey universities and faculties.

Current tasks of history and art history, religion and social science, philosophy, psychology and medical sciences, pedagogy and methodology, economics, law and politics, information technology, language and literature, tourism and geography were discussed.
