Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Shakhlo Turdikulova met with Chief Representative of JICA Uzbekistan Office Suguru Miyazaki, in Tashkent.

The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation, ongoing projects, including the activities of Uzbekistan – Japan Youth Innovation Center, as well as ongoing work under the Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS).

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on organizing training courses under the Knowledge Co-Creation Programs (KCCP), allocating scholarships for human resource development (JDS), reforming the higher education system under the Technical Cooperation program, training women engineers, attracting experts-consultants in venture financing and investment in science and innovation.
