During his stay in New York City, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Vice Chairman of Cerberus Brian Hook.

At the meeting, issues of implementing joint projects in various sectors of the economy were discussed.

A global investment corporation with assets of more than $60 billion plans to direct investments into the communications industry, mining, and modernization of transport and energy infrastructure projects.

Vice Chairman Brian Hook said that the first cooperation projects will be launched before the end of this year.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to adopt a cooperation action plan.
