Consul General of Uzbekistan Nodirjon Turgunov met in Jeddah with the Director General of the Union of OIC News Agencies Mohammed bin Abd Rabbo Al-Yami and Head of Department Yunus Inayat.

The parties discussed posting articles on Uzbekistan's investment and tourism potential and international events held in the country on the UNA-OIC information platform to attract Saudi tourists and investors to Uzbekistan.

Mohammed bin Abd Rabbo Al-Yami expressed interest in cooperation and noted his readiness to publish various articles about Uzbekistan on the UNA-OIC information platform. He said that information about the country would be available to 57 OIC member states.

The interlocutor also said that a separate section about the Member States, in particular, about Uzbekistan, was opened on the UNA-OIC website, which can be regularly supplemented with up-to-date information on the economy, tourism potential, historical cities, unique architectural monuments of Uzbekistan.
