Head of the Department for Cooperation with European Countries and EU Institutions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oybek Shakhavdinov met with Head of Unit for Russia, Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Ludovico Serra, in Rome.

The parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Italy in the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as the expansion of the legal framework through new relevant, and practical documents.

The schedule of planned joint events and visits at various levels and their organizational and substantive aspects were also considered.

The parties expressed their readiness to strengthen the constructive dialogue in various areas further.
