As part of the “One Million Uzbek Coders” project, implemented in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates, many Uzbekistan youth are learning digital skills and the basics of programming.
At a meeting with the Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov and the Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange of the United Arab Emirates Abdulla Nasser Lootah, the parties noted the success achieved within the framework of the mGovAward and “One Million Uzbek Coders” projects, as well as the importance of further expanding such initiatives, and paid particular attention to issues of their joint implementation.
At the same time, information was presented on the opportunities created in Uzbekistan, the activities of the IT Park, tax incentives provided in this direction, and measures implemented to create favorable conditions for the development of IT companies.
Proposals were considered to create jobs for young, qualified personnel, develop artificial intelligence education, and increase domestic IT products’ export potential.
