At the invitation of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, I. Krasnov, a delegation of prosecutors led by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan, N. Yuldoshev, visited the Russian Federation.

A meeting of the heads of the supervisory authorities of the two states took place.

The parties discussed issues of legal interaction and promising directions for further developing cooperation between the prosecutor’s offices of Uzbekistan and Russia.

The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan introduced his colleagues to the reforms in the Prosecutor’s Office and emphasized the need to consolidate efforts in combating transnational organized crime, including terrorism.

Following the meeting, the parties signed a Cooperation Program between the Prosecutor General’s Offices of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation for 2024-2025.
