The Ministry of Energy hosted a meeting on gender equality.

A study of the state of gender equality was conducted, meetings and workshops were held at companies and organizations in the energy sector of Uzbekistan as part of the “Technical Assistance Program of the French Development Agency on Gender Equality in the Energy Sector of Uzbekistan”, in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy.

At the meeting, the Eurasian Regional Branch Manager of the French Development Agency on gender, environmental and social issues, Mathilde Camus, touched upon urgent issues of gender equality in the energy sector and gave the necessary recommendations.
