Reforms implemented in the judicial-legal sphere of the country, the level of public awareness about this process, issues of increasing the legal knowledge of citizens were discussed at the event.

Reports on “Issues of implementation of judicial-legal reforms in Uzbekistan”, “Activities of judicial-legal bodies and their cooperation with the mass media”, “The role of the mass media in ensuring the openness of activities of judicial, justice and internal affairs authorities”, “Methods and forms of covering legal issues in the mass media. Principles of journalistic investigation” were heard.

The level and scope of materials published in the mass media on activities of judicial-legal bodies and increasing the legal knowledge of the population were discussed. It was noted that in the current era of globalization, journalists should constantly improve their knowledge and skills in covering legal issues, be even more active in promoting the essence and significance of reforms implemented in the judicial-legal sphere.

Following the workshop, a joint media plan was developed on judicial, law-enforcement cooperation with the mass media.
