The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met in Tashkent with his counterpart from Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubayev.

The heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the two countries discussed current issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, paying special attention to the progress in implementing the agreements between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. At the same time, the ministers exchanged views on the international and regional agenda.

At the same time, issues of implementing joint plans and projects planned for this year were discussed, and a roadmap for preparations for the upcoming summit was signed.

It was noted that the expected events will consolidate previously reached agreements and contribute to developing and strengthening a comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The parties also noted the importance of strengthening interaction and coordination within specialized international organizations.
