Hokim of Navoi region Normat Tursunov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Uzbekistan Lubomir Frebort.

According to the Regional Hokimiyat, the parties exchanged views on establishing interregional cooperation between the Navoi region and the Czech Republic and on promising opportunities for advancing it to a new stage.

At the meeting, proposals for implementing investment projects in industries such as chemical, mining, metallurgical, and construction materials, issues of expanding mutual trade turnover, increasing the flow of tourists from the Czech Republic, and establishing connections between higher education institutions of the region and prestigious universities of the Czech Republic were discussed.
