Hokim of Navoi region Normat Tursunov met with the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Samarkand Salih Caner.

The parties exchanged views on the prospects and priority areas for developing mutually beneficial cooperation between Navoi region and the Republic of Türkiye.

At the meeting, the Hokim expressed gratitude for the work carried out by the Embassy and Consulate to develop effective partnerships in trade, economic, investment, cultural, and humanitarian spheres in Uzbekistan, including in Navoi region.

He also noted that the practical support of the Embassy plays a vital role in establishing and developing bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation with Türkiye.

The parties touched upon the opportunities created for investors in Navoi region and discussed issues of attracting Turkish capital.
