Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Ibrokhim Abdurakhmanov met with the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Olga Algayerova.

Views were exchanged on joint activities and future projects. Issues of developing cooperation in transport, green energy, innovations and technologies, which serve as the basis for the sustainable development of Uzbekistan and Central Asian countries, were discussed.

Ms. Olga Algayerova expressed her readiness to continue joint work within the framework of the Strategy for Innovative Development of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026.

An agreement was reached that within the framework of InnoWeek.uz-2023, the National Office for Innovation and Technology Transfer together with the UNECE will organize a special session.
