A press conference was held at the Uzexpocentre NEC, where issues of development and strengthening cooperation in tourism were discussed.
At the event organized as part of the 28th Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” taking place in the capital, representatives of the Eurasian Alliance of Mountain Resorts noted that the alliance united in June the resorts Amirsoy in Uzbekistan, Rosa Khutor in Russia and Shimbuloq in Kazakhstan. They spoke about the goals and the events planned for the winter season.
It was noted that the Mountain Resorts Festival will be held in March next year. It will be organized at the Rosa Khutor Resort in Sochi. It is planned to create an Interstate Tourist Route, introduce common ski passes for use at all three resorts, and train personnel for mountain resorts.
At the exhibition, the Eurasian Alliance of Mountain Resorts added a new member – the largest resort in Azerbaijan, Shahdag. The corresponding memorandum was signed by representatives of all recreation centers of the alliance and the Chairman of the Board of the Resort, Rustam Najafov.
– Our common goal is to open new destinations, improve the quality of services provided, and bring the culture of tourism to a new level, – says Saidvali Saidkhodjayev, Director General of Amirsoy LLC JV. – We are delighted to have a new member join us. The overall activity, results achieved, and successful presentation at the tourism forum demonstrate the vital relevance and significance of the alliance. I am confident that new projects will be implemented to develop international and safe, green tourism.
– The steady growth of the tourist flow between our countries during 2023 once again confirms that international cooperation is the key to success, – says Sergey Khvorostyany, Deputy Director-General for International Relations and Tourism of the Rosa Khutor Mountain Resort. – The Eurasian Alliance, organized by four resorts, will create strategic opportunities for the sustainable development of mountain tourism on the Eurasian continent for the next decade and in the long term.
At the event, the Director General of the Mountain Resort Rinat Abdrakhmonov, the Secretary of the Alliance Andrey Kukushkin, and others expressed their opinion on increasing tourism potential and cooperation.
