A meeting was organized at the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan with Professor of Oxford Nizami Ganjavi Centre for the Study of the History, Languages, and Cultures of Azerbaijan, the Caucasus and Central Asia Leyla Najafzada, Associate Professor of Islamic Art and Architecture at the University of Oxford Zeynep Yurekli.

At the meeting, the main attention was paid to studying the Uzbek language and literature at the international level.

At the meeting, cooperation issues in the research of modern Uzbek literature and translation of the best samples of our national literature into foreign languages were discussed.
