A delegation led by Irakli Nadareishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, visited the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan.
During the visit, the parties discussed prospects for further expanding cooperation between Georgia and Uzbekistan in the field of information technology.

As part of the visit, a meeting was held between Olimjon Umarov, First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, and Mr. Irakli Nadareishvili.
Support for the digital economy and innovative projects was among the key topics discussed during the meeting. Special attention was given to the development of startup ecosystems, enhancing their global competitiveness, and implementing joint investment projects.

The parties also exchanged views on the establishment of venture capital funds and the use of such funds to support innovative startups.
Proposals were put forward to strengthen cooperation in the IT sector, create a favorable environment for startups, and promote joint initiatives aimed at attracting venture capital investment.
