The 23rd meeting of the Interstate Council for Industrial Safety was held in Kazan.

The event was attended by representatives of state control bodies in the field of industrial safety from CIS member states, as well as officials from the CIS Executive Committee and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).

Uzbekistan was represented by a delegation from the Committee for Industrial, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the Committee, participants reviewed the report on activities carried out in 2024 and 2025, as well as the implementation of the Agreement on Cooperation in Ensuring Industrial Safety at Hazardous Production Facilities.

“The meeting is of great importance for strengthening interstate cooperation in the field of industrial safety, studying best practices, and effectively applying them in Uzbekistan”, said O. Jurayev, Head of the Tashkent City Department of the Committee.
