The Ministry of Digital Technologies organized a meeting with the President of the prestigious Malaysian university UCSI to strengthen relations between Malaysia and Uzbekistan in IT education.

At the meeting, the possibility of creating a branch of UCSI University in Uzbekistan was discussed. Ideas were exchanged on attracting leading Malaysian IT companies to Uzbekistan with the University’s support and employing graduates in Malaysian companies.

Representatives of the Malaysian University expressed interest in implementing joint programs and projects in Uzbekistan by establishing cooperation with universities of the Ministry of Digital Technologies.

Information was also presented on the potential of Syrdarya, Fergana, and other regions in the development of IT education.
