The Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Shermatov met with the Managing Director for Asia Pacific at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, Jalil Rasheed.

First, a presentation was made about the activities of the IT Park of Uzbekistan. Information was given about the work carried out, plans for the future, and the conditions and tax benefits for foreign IT companies.

Detailed information was presented on the activities of a single integrator for creating and supporting government information systems in Uzbekistan – UZINFOCOM.

At the meeting, cooperation issues in IT education, digitalization, and e-government were discussed.

In addition, proposals were made to implement joint programs in scientific research and training in IT.
