An official meeting of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Pulat Bobojonov and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ramazon Hamro Rakhimzoda was held at Hyatt Regency Tashkent hotel.

An official meeting of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Pulat Bobojonov and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ramazon Hamro Rakhimzoda was held at Hyatt Regency Tashkent hotel.

At the meeting, issues of mutually beneficial cooperation on countering terrorism, extremism, transnational organized crime, illegal migration, human trafficking, rapid exchange of information were discussed.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan expressed hope that close cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries will develop rapidly.

Issues of implementation of agreements reached during the second meeting of Uzbekistan – Tajikistan interdepartmental coordination working group were considered. The date and place of the third meeting of the working group were determined.

Following the meeting, the sides signed a joint plan of comprehensive measures for 2018-2019 to counter activities of extremist and terrorist structures on the Internet under the conventional name “Clean network” and the final Protocol of the meeting.
