Opportunities to spread the best practices of Russian surgery were discussed at the meeting with a delegation of Russian Scientific Center of Surgery named after academician B. V. Petrovsky.

As it was noted at the meeting, effective cooperation with foreign scientific medical centers, including Russia, is an important part of improving the skills of health workers in Uzbekistan and preparing for the upcoming licensing of specialists in the sphere, provided for by the Presidential Decree “On comprehensive measures to radically improve the healthcare system of the Republic of Uzbekistan” of December 7, 2018.

Master classes, trainings based on modern technologies in the same surgery will give an opportunity to master innovative methods of providing modern medical care and to gain credit-module points, which are an indicator of constant professional growth of a doctor.

During the roundtable discussion held within the framework of the visit, great interest was noted in development of fruitful Uzbekistan – Russia cooperation in healthcare, including through the use of capabilities of the National Chamber of Innovative Health and its initiatives.
