President of the World Ethnosport Confederation President, Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, visited the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.

The Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Adham Ikramov, met the high-ranking guest.

The meeting, which was held in a warm atmosphere, was also attended by the Chairman of the Uzbekistan Ethnosport Association, Oybek Norinboyev. At the meeting, the parties discussed such promising projects as further strengthening friendly relations between the two countries through sports and developing national and ethnic sports.

At the meeting, Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan spoke positively about the International Ethnosport Festival, organized at a high level in Khiva last September.

In turn, Mr. Ikramov spoke about the attention paid to the development of mass and professional sports under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan. He introduced the distinguished guest to the work carried out in this direction. NOC Secretary General Oybek Qosimov made a presentation about the Fourth Asian Youth Games “Tashkent-2025” and the Olympic village being built for them.

Mr. Erdoğan highly appreciated the project of building the Olympic village in Tashkent. The parties determined further stages of cooperation. Following the visit, the President of the World Ethnosport Confederation was presented with a commemorative NOC medal.
