Minister of Public Education Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar.

The parties discussed areas of cooperation between the education systems of the two countries.

Views were exchanged on the possibilities of raising relations in education to a new level.

It was noted that a working visit of the Minister of Education of Turkey to Uzbekistan is planned to allocate grants to Uzbekistan students to study in leading higher education institutions of Turkey and strengthen cooperation between the ministries.

According to the Ministry of Public Education, the minister expressed his readiness to meet with his Turkish counterpart to discuss the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries in education.
