A General Agreement was signed between the University of Wolverhampton (UK) and International Digital University (Uzbekistan) in Tashkent.
The agreement means that the University of Wolverhampton, one of the TOP 1000 universities in the world according to Times Higher Education, is a validation partner of the International Digital University (IDU), which allows graduates of joint programs to receive a British diploma while studying in Tashkent.
IDU will provide training on University of Wolverhampton standards based entirely on its courses. The training is designed for four years, the first year of which is carried out according to the IDU program itself and the third year of which is carried out according to the British university’s program.
International Digital University began its activities in Tashkent in September 2021 and has since been validated according to the University of Wolverhampton’s standards. Having passed all the necessary stages, IDU was recognized as worthy of becoming the University of Wolverhampton's first partner in Uzbekistan and the Central Asia region.
During the visit, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Wolverhampton, Professor Ebrahim Adia, held talks at the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the country, and the IT Park of Uzbekistan.
