International cooperation plays an important role in the reforms carried out on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to develop national culture and art.

The main attention is paid to strengthening international cultural ties. Another important step in this direction was the meeting of the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, with the Minister of Culture of Chechnya, Aishat Kadyrova.

According to the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan, the parties expressed opinions on the organization of joint festivals, the further development of the activities of theaters and museums, and strengthening the tourism potential.
