Tashkent hosts the Third International Investment Forum.
It is attended by almost 2.5 thousand delegates from 93 countries, including heads of governments, large companies, and representatives of international organizations.

As part of the planned meetings, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ibrahim Abdurakhmonov, talked with the heads of foreign organizations and agencies interested in developing the agricultural sector and wishing to implement investment projects in Uzbekistan.
The joint implementation of the project “Technology of methanotrophic synthesis and production of protein products and biodegradable polymers for feed and food purposes” was discussed with Ivan Savintsev, the First Deputy Director General of Russia’s IMPACT.BIO.

In a conversation with Fabrice Caquin, the CEO of the French company Selerys, the company’s experience in rainmaking technologies using drones and balloons was noted.

A discussion took place on how the company’s innovative solutions can be integrated into the agricultural system of Uzbekistan, how to improve crop management, and how to use advanced yield forecasting models actively.
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed at a meeting with Ivo Bols, the President of the American company Air Products for Europe and Africa, engaged in the production of technical gases. The document is focused on using industrial gases to improve productivity and product quality in industry.

Minister I. Abdurakhmonov and the State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany, Ophelia Nick, discussed cooperation in education, export and import, and the introduction of Germany’s rich experience in digitalizing agriculture in Uzbekistan.
