An international forum is taking place in Istanbul on cooperation between farmers, agricultural producers and national authorities of the European and Central Asian region. The event is organized at the initiative of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

Representatives of the Council of Farmers, Dehkan Farms and Owners of Household Lands of Uzbekistan are also taking part in the event.

The participants are discussing the possibilities and problems of cooperation in the sphere, organizations involved in agriculture are sharing their experiences, and exchanging views on the role of farming in the industry.

The prospects for the development of cooperation and issues of interaction with regional, local small-scale commodity producers and agricultural organizations will be considered.
